LNG Power Plays

In this edition

From exporter to importer, Southeast Asia is redefining its gas balance. Between growing demand, expanding infrastructure, and competition from renewables, the challenge is finding a sustainable role for LNG. ASEAN countries are emerging as the most promising LNG buyers. As a whole, they have a very large population (Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines), dense urban centers (Singapore and Thailand), and constantly growing energy demand. Imports from the United States are increasing. And Russia is also entering the market. Europe is at a crossroads. Does the planet's energy future depend on Asia?
